She suggested the quarterback put his family above everything, including football, on his podcast.

Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi, warned NFL fans that her quarterback son might not play as much as he would like, despite the Chiefs’ stellar attempt to match Tom Brady’s longevity in the league.

On a recent episode of ‘The Mom Game Podcast’ this week, Randi revealed what the three-time Super Bowl champion once told her: that he’s willing to end his career if it interferes with his family.

“I hear him, you know, make comments like, ‘If the game takes me away from my kids, I might not play as long as Tom Brady,’ and I think, ‘I’m so proud of him for that,'” he said in one. conversation with Julie Dobbs and Emily Jones.

Mahomes, who many project as the “Greatest of All Time” (GOAT), has won three championships in the last seven years with Kansas City along with multiple honors and individual awards, including league MVP, twice, and the league’s offensive player of the year award.

But it’s still a far cry from Brady’s seven Super Bowl rings, which the former New England Patriots quarterback won over a 23-year career span.

Mahomes has always wanted to match Brady's longevity in the league.

Randi Mahomes has cast doubt on her son Patrick Mahomes’ long-term future in the NFL.

In the past, Mahomes has unequivocally said that his family comes before his prestigious NFL career.

“I’ve been thinking. If I had played up to Tom’s age, my daughter would be 19 or 20 years old. That would mean missing a lot of youth sporting events and other commitments,” the Chiefs quarterback explained.

And while he would like to keep playing as much as Brady, he confessed that “at the same time, I want to be there for my daughter. If I can do that, I’ll keep playing.”
