Paris Saint-Germain has joined the growing club list to show interest in Allan Saint Maximin, Newcastle United flyer.
The 23-year-old has been hailed by Newcastle manager Steve Bruce as ‘the season signing’ after coming out of Nice for just £ 16.5m last summer and signing a six-year contract.
His performance has been excellent this season and he has been instrumental in raising Newcastle to 13th in the Premier League, but that has attracted potential candidates in the process.

Bruce says there is no way Newcastle would sell, but that hasn’t stopped interest in the former French U21 international.
French champions PSG know Saint Maximin well from his time at Nice, but scouts believe he started under Bruce and are impressed by how quickly he has adapted to the Premier League against better class defenses.
They understand that Saint Maximin is a name on the recruitment list of all of England’s current top six matches as they target young, high quality players.

Tottenham has also expressed interest. Although they have a limited transfer set, they would like to offer players like Danny Rose and Juan Foyth plus money.
Newcastle is bracing itself for offers and much may depend on how the club’s proposed acquisition talks go this week. However, they will try to resist bids against crowd favorite Saint Maximin.
The St James’ Park club has been busy identifying potential targets including Roma striker Patrik Schick, Arnaud Lusamba from Nice, Benfica’s Florentino Luis and Ben Godfrey from Norwich.
Another option, Atletico Penarol’s highly rated Uruguayan winger 18-year-old Facundo Pellistri, worth £ 10 million, is attracting strong interest from Manchester City and United.
