A man’s body was found with burns and other injuries in a local park.

The grim discovery was made in Glennon Park, near Pappas Way in Nerang, a Gold Coast suburb, on Tuesday around 6.30am

Emergency services attended the scene and found the man’s body with multiple injuries.

A man’s body has been found with burns and other injuries in a local park on the Gold Coast.

Police said the body had been burned and believe the man had been taken to the park after he was killed elsewhere, the police reported. Gold Coast Newsletter.

Queensland Police officers have set up a crime scene in the area and are currently carrying out investigations into the man’s death.

The man has not been identified.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that officers are currently conducting inquiries into the incident and that investigations into the man’s death are ongoing.

Earlier, officers were seen setting up a tent next to a youth rugby league as detectives searched the crime scene for evidence.

Officers were also seen combing the bushes behind the field.
