Pamela Anderson laughed uncontrollably when she recently revealed that her grandmother had kept slightly questionable male companionship after her grandfather’s death.
Anderson, whose new cookbook features some of her favorite plant-based recipes, revealed to Stephen Colbert that her love of traditional afternoon tea was inspired by her beloved grandmother.
I Love You: Recipes From the Heart includes instructions for making dishes like lemon-vanilla spelled scones, almond tea cakes, and your own flower tea blends.
“I have always been drawn to rituals and traditions,” he writes.
‘I prefer a very classic three-tier afternoon tea when I’m in an English hotel…sandwiches on the bottom, scones in the middle and sweets on top.
Anderson returned to live on his grandmother’s 100-year-old farm on Vancouver Island in 2020.
“But with a hungry crowd around we can make larger, more rustic sandwiches and buns that are still elegant and respect the history.”
Anderson, 57, moved back to live in his grandmother’s 100-year-old farm on Vancouver Island in 2020 and set about restoring it, at a cost of $24,000.
The results were shown on the HGTV series Pamela’s Garden of Eden.
It was a deeply personal process, as she had spent much of her childhood at the lakeside house, which her grandparents ran as a vacation rental business and tea house for many years.
He explained to Colbert, “My grandmother’s tea house, Arcady, is where she served tea to her favorite guests… who happened to be the Hell’s Angels.”
She laughed, covering her face with her hands, before adding: ‘Real men drink tea! It’s fun to imagine.
‘My grandfather had passed away, but I think she really enjoyed the company of men. Big, burly men.

She laughed some more as she picked up her own cup of tea with her pinky extended and said, “I could see them like this…”
“She just felt safer around cyclists.”

Anderson herself is no stranger to motorcycle gangs. She once dated former Hell’s Angel Chuck Zito.
It is also alleged that her ex-husband, Tommy Lee, called his Hell’s Angel friends to get revenge when the safe containing her infamous sex tape was stolen.
Now divorced from her fifth husband, bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, Anderson told Drew Barrymore that her latest love affair is with herself.
‘I don’t know. “No, I’m not even thinking about that right now,” the mother of two said, when asked if she was dating again.
She then added, “I’m thinking about this whole love story I’m having right now with just life and myself and getting to know myself, so I’d be a better partner anyway.”
On last week’s show, Drew, her guests and the entire studio audience went makeup-free in honor of Anderson, who embraced her natural beauty and ditched makeup for good last year.

The move was inspired by the death of her makeup artist Alexis Vogel, who died of breast cancer in 2019.
She told Elle at the time: ‘(Alexis) was the best. And since then I felt that, without Alexis, it was better for me not to wear makeup.”
She added that going without makeup had been “liberating, fun and also a little rebellious.”
Her cookbook even reveals the secret to her still-glowing skin: a probiotic cabbage dish made with sea salt and caraway seeds.
“I try to eat a little bit of this every day,” he says. ‘It is an excellent addition to salads or to accompany a baked sweet potato. A little detox.’
Earlier this month, Anderson received the Glamor Impact Award at the Glamor Women of the Year event, recognizing her work in redefining the concept of traditional beauty standards.
In a speech accepting the honor, she referred to her latest role in the upcoming film The Last Showgirl, saying, “Having the opportunity to play this role, the mask came off and the world opened up.” And I have to tell you that I like it. Feeling rooted is new and curious.
‘It’s overwhelming, humiliating and, above all, fun. I live in the mystery of not knowing what’s next, and that’s exciting.

“Few get the chance to be here, much less a second chance, and I’m going to make the most of it.”
‘As a survivor of sexual violence, I now see the pattern I was trapped in and what I was trying to accomplish in my own way to exert my own power.
‘And I know that it takes tremendous strength to heal, and I thank everyone who has supported me on this journey.
“These last few years have been like a clean slate. I am on my path, a new, glorious and imperfect one, but the lesson I have learned is to not let what happened to me define what I do.
‘I dedicate this award to women around the world, who overcome their painful paths and find the courage to be their best selves. God bless you and thank you.’
