The late Alexandre Lacazette winner saw Arsenal beat Olympiacos 1-0 in Athens and take the lead over their round of 32 Europa League games.
The attacker struck Bukayo Saka’s left wing for 81 minutes to seal the win and it could have been 2-0 if Sokratis’s late header did not come back from the post.
Lacazette missed a golden opportunity in the first half before making up for it later, while Bernd Leno broke a free kick from Mathieu Valbuena because Arsenal managed to win an impressive victory.
