Broadcasting icon Tim Lovejoy has reflected on the time the One Direction stars called him a “legend” on the latest episode of the Soccer AZ podcast.
Lovejoy first met the boy band when they appeared as guests on ITV’s This Morning as their fame continued to grow.
Highlighting the success of the iconic Soccer AM, Lovejoy revealed that the band had begged him to take a selfie.
“They saw me and ran up and said ‘can I take a selfie, can I take a selfie, Soccer AM legend, legend, legend,'” Lovejoy said.
