A man has revealed the terrifying moment he was allegedly stabbed in the back as a party in one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs turned into a bloodbath.

Emergency services were called to a home on Stephanie Place in North Turramurra just before 2am on Sunday following reports that two men had been stabbed.

One of the alleged victims, a 28-year-old shopkeeper from Sydney’s inner west, told relatives he became involved in a fight with the knife accused, Jess William Radcliff, 30, before turning to leave. .

It is alleged Radcliff then ran into the kitchen and grabbed a knife before stabbing the tradie in the back.

The tradie alleges he then turned around before being stabbed in the chest and bicep.

Police allege Radcliff then stabbed party host Matthew Harper, 31, in the leg and suffered facial injuries.

Neighbors said the party at the $3 million home owned by Harper’s parents went well into the night before screams were heard around 2 a.m. Sunday.

The trader attended with his girlfriend, after watching the Wests Tigers take on the Sharks in an NRL clash at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday afternoon.

He has told his friends that he was not drinking that night because he was taking medication.

When police and paramedics were called to the scene, they found a knife and a large amount of blood on the sandstone landscape outside the Harper family home.

Paramedics treated Mr Harper and the tradie, who was the most seriously injured, at the scene before they were both taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

Radcliff was also taken to the hospital and treated for facial injuries before being released.

Police charged him with reckless wounding, wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

He appeared at Hornsby Local Court on Monday before being refused bail.

Detectives are continuing their investigations into the incident.
