Noah Lyles' 2024 Paris Olympics are OVER, the American sprinter says after revealing COVID diagnosis

Noah Lyles has revealed he is likely done competing at the Paris Olympics after the American sprinter battled COVID to finish third in the 200m final on Thursday.

Lyles, who won a gold medal in the 100 metres earlier in the Games, had appeared set to compete in the 4×100-metre relay on Friday but has apparently ruled himself out.

She wrote on Instagram: “I think this will be the end of my 2024 Olympics. It’s not the Olympics I dreamed of, but it has left me with a lot of joy in my heart. I hope everyone enjoyed the show. Whether you were rooting for me or against me, you have to admit you watched it, right? See you next time.”

We will continue to report more.
