Nikki Glaser is demanding an apology from her parents for their misinterpretation of Julia Roberts’ interaction with Travis Kelce at Taylor Swift’s show on Sunday in Dublin, Ireland.
“Uh oh,” the comedian, 40, captioned a (now-expired) Instagram Story screenshot of a news story about her parents’ comments on Tuesday, writing, “My parents are going to apologize soon.”
The controversy arose when Nikki’s mother Julie and father Edward, who defended her jokes at Tom Brady’s ceremony, reacted to footage of the Steel Magnolias actress, 56, affectionately touching Kelce’s, 34, chest while speaking to him.
“She’s so disgusting,” Julie said, adding that it was “weird” that the actress was “scratching” the athlete’s chest.
Edward agreed, saying Kelce was “trying to get away” from Roberts.

On Tuesday, Julie admitted she “should have said something other than the word disgusting” in an apology video via Nikki’s Instagram Story.
“It’s not a nice word… So I apologize right now for using it, but I think it was very weird.”
Julie went on to say that she “meant to just say weird, not (gross) and weird.” Edward added that it was “too late” to retract his comments.
In social media photos of Roberts and Kelce, the Oscar winner simply told the Super Bowl champion she was happy for him and Taylor.
But despite the controversy, the trio had a good time at the concert, which was Nikki’s 13th (Swift’s favorite) performance on Eras.
“This was my 13th show. And the best part for me is always the reveal,” Nikki wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story video of Swift’s entrance at the start of the show on Monday.
“My dad cried when we all applauded her after Champagne Problems,” she wrote alongside a photo of her father crying.
“How cute is this,” he wrote.

Stevie Nicks, 76, was seated next to Roberts and Kelce in the VIP tent for Sunday’s concert.
Swift praised Rhiannon before performing Tortured Poets Department’s Clara Bow, which includes Nicks’ name in the lyrics.
“She’s befriended a lot of female artists just so she can mentor them. I can’t tell you how rare that is,” she told the audience.
“She’s a hero to me and also someone I could tell any secret to and she would never tell anyone. She’s really helped me a lot over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks,” Swift gushed.
