Minnesota Vikings mascot Viktor the Viking dropped an absolute point in a halftime performance.

Halftime shows provide fun entertainment for people looking for action other than the game itself. A person dressed in a mascot costume decided to take a chance for glory.

At halftime of Sunday Night Football between the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings, several mascots were playing football against children.

Minnesota mascot Viktor the Viking was captured on video completing a near-perfect hit on Colts mascot Blue in the end zone.

The video went viral, garnering more than a million views since it was posted Wednesday night.

The video was titled: “Can’t stop thinking about this throw from @ViktorTheViking… Turning to the left, he rotates his hips, punches as he throws, but somehow perfectly placed.” Not to mention @Blue with the unreal catch.”

The rest of the social networks did the same, publishing their reactions to the spectacular play.

“NFL Mascots would be a 6.5 point favorite against Nebraska in a neutral view (sic),” one user wrote.

“Cleaner play design than anything (Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Shane) has ever come up with for Waldron,” said one division rival.

Another joked: “The Vikings had a legit QB1 this whole time and they wasted a pick on (JJ) McCarthy smh.”

“If Patrick Mahomes did this, ESPN wouldn’t shut up for a month,” another user said.

Even Viktor the Viking got in on the action, mocking NFL players’ responses in interviews: “Sometimes you just have to pick up the ball and trust your guys.” We made some good plays but we have a lot to work on and we’re already studying tape and practicing for next year.’
