This is the moment Coventry City manager Mark Robins shouted in the face of a Wolverhampton ball boy after his side’s late FA Cup win against Wolves.

Coventry produced a comeback for the ages after trailing 2-1 at half-time before scoring twice to secure a stunning 3-2 win at Molineux.

Haji Wright’s winner in the 10th minute of stoppage time sparked wild celebrations as Coventry progressed to the semi-finals of the competition to make a first Wembley cup appearance since winning the title in 1987.

Robins had been animated throughout the game and burst into passion when Wright’s goal settled into the back of the net and bizarrely ran to celebrate in front of a ball boy on the touchline.

The 54-year-old sprinted out of his technical area and up towards the ball boy, said to be 13, and was left distraught by the incident.

He later revealed he had done it because the ‘young lad’ had dropped the ball and walked away smiling from him earlier in the match.

Robins apologized ‘unreservedly’ for his behavior afterwards but had his behavior branded ‘disgusting’ by Wolves boss Gary O’Neil.

‘The young lad had earlier lost the ball and walked away smiling,’ he said after full-time.

‘It really annoyed me so I celebrated in front of him.

Wolves manager Gary O’Neil was furious with Robins’ reaction to the late goal

“I don’t often show emotion but that’s what the FA Cup does to you,” Robins added.

A furious O’Neil lashed out at his fellow manager and revealed he later spoke to the Coventry boss about the incident.

“They’re just kids doing a job and the boy is really upset,” O’Neil said. ‘It was really important for me to talk to Mark about it afterwards.

‘To celebrate like that in the face of a young boy, I thought was disgusting. It shouldn’t happen. I waited for Mark downstairs and spoke to him because I was really respectful at the end when I had lost a huge fight, he added.
