A rapist who attacked a primary school girl in a bathroom in the Sydney dance studio claimed that he & # 39; sexual mania & # 39; while he had a lot of meth.
Anthony Sampieri raped the seven-year-old girl in a Kogarah dance studio in the south of the city on November 15, 2018 in a crime that shocked Australia.
The 55-year-old – who at that time was conditionally free because of a woman's rape in 2012 – had grabbed the girl when she entered the bathroom and later dragged her to the men's room.
He subjected her to corrupt acts for more than 40 minutes before the good Samaritan Nick Gilio intervened.

Sampieri pleaded guilty to three counts of raping a child and seven other violations related to the attack.
He will also be convicted of admissions he made about 94 abusive phone calls to 91 women between August and the day of the attack.
A psychological report released on Thursday in court revealed that Sampieri visited public toilets to masturbate, The Daily Telegraph reported.
& # 39; In the months prior to the current crimes, Mr. Sampieri had also started masturbating in public toilets and found a sexual sensation when masturbating in cabins next to women, & # 39; said the report.
Forensic psychologist Patrick Sheehan also wrote that Sampieri claimed & # 39; sexual mania & # 39; to experience when he was high.
& # 39; He describes a form of sexual mania when he is hit by methylamfetamine, and stays for days & # 39; fixed & # 39; on sexual fantasy, & # 39; said the report.
In the aftermath of the attack, a sample of Sampieri's blood found methamphetamine, amphetamine, Diazepam and Nordiazepam, news.com.au reported.
He hadn't slept for days before the attack.
The seven-year-old girl, wearing a black, navy and silver jazz ballet outfit, waited for her sister's dance class to end up with her mother after the end of her own class, according to legal documents seen by news.com .au.
The girl had to go to the bathroom and left her mother in the parking garage at about 6.48 p.m. in the dance hall.
Sampieri had arrived more than an hour earlier in the bathrooms of the dance hall where he used his cell phone to watch pornography.
When the seven-year-old entered the bathroom, Sampieri grabbed his victim, who tried to resist.
He hit her on the left cheek and threatened her with a four-centimeter blade.
& # 39; This is my knife and I don't want to use it, & # 39; said Sampieri.
Sampieri tied a black cord around her neck and moved her from the female bathroom to a male closet where he turned off the light and started attacking her.
He told the victim that he & # 39; would cut her neck off & # 39; if she made a noise.

The victim's mother began to wonder where her daughter was when the other daughter finished her class around 7.30 p.m.
She went looking for the girl with the help of dance teacher and dentist Jeffrey Stack, who tried to knock on the door of the closed closet in the men's bathroom.
Sampieri then left the bathroom and walked past Mr. Gilio, who asked the 55-year-old if he had seen the girl – and Sampieri said no.
But the two then went into the bathroom with Sampieri behind them and found the seven-year-old victim.
When he realized what Sampieri had done to the girl, Mr. Gilio yelled & # 39; Is this what you are doing? & # 39; and rammed Sampieri's head against a brick wall.
The rapist quickly reached for his knife – used to hold the girl – and began waving at the good Samaritan and the girl's mother.
The men fought for a few minutes and Mr. Gilio & # 39; s stomach and the back of his neck – from ear to ear – were cut by knife-wielding Sampieri.

& # 39; He had no regard for me or my family … his only regard was thirst for abuse & # 39 ;, the engineer said to the NSW court on Thursday.
& # 39; This is why I & # 39; can't sleep at night. The flashbacks are still there. & # 39;
Sampieri was only conquered after the bleeding engineer grabbed him in a headlock when Mr. Stack burst through the door and hit the pedophile twice in the face.
Gilio told the court that he could still remember the feeling that the scalpel was being dragged over his neck and the girl's face on the toilet tied with her hands, legs and neck.
The previously & # 39; happy-go-lucky & # 39; man is now pessimistic about the world and sees all children as vulnerable to attacks from people like Sampieri.
Gilio said there was no sense enough for Sampieri and wished the rapist a life of & # 39; pain, darkness and misery & # 39 ;.
& # 39; The pain is a life sentence for all involved … we live our lives every day with this pain, & # 39; he said.
& # 39; There is no forgiveness or rehabilitation for what you have done. You must suffer for the consequences of your actions. & # 39;
Sampieri is expected to return to court in December for conviction.
