Naomi Watts has revealed that her best friend Nicole Kidman approached her before working with Naomi’s ex-partner and father of her children, Liev Schreiber.
Nicole and Liev, 56, star in the new series The Perfect Couple.
She revealed that Nicole approached her before accepting the role in front of her ex.
“We always communicate, we are best friends,” Naomi, 55, told Entertainment Weekly During the Toronto International Film Festival.

He added: “It was very kind of him to do that.”
Nicole and Liev play a married couple in The Perfect Couple, which is available on the streaming service Netflix.
The series is based on the book The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand.
Naomi revealed during the interview that she hasn’t seen it yet but plans to.
“I’m desperate to see it because everyone is so excited about it. It only came out two days ago,” she said.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve seen the trailer. It looks fantastic.”
Naomi and Liev were together for 11 years, from 2005 until they split in 2016, although they never married.
They are parents of two children: Sasha, 17, and Kai, 15.
