Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, has revealed that her father Alan has died.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Sophie, 34, shared a gallery of images and revealed that her father had died suddenly in his sleep on April 25, a month after being hospitalized for breathing problems.
She wrote: ‘April 25, 2024 My precious dad passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep. My life, our entire world, has been turned upside down.
‘A deep and unimaginable pain that I cannot express in words.
‘My dear dad, our dear children, grandfather, your workshop is closed and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream alive.
Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, revealed that her father Alan died on April 25, suddenly in his sleep, a month after being hospitalized with breathing problems.
Sophie shared this childhood photo of her and her father.
She wrote: ‘April 25, 2024 My precious dad passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep. My life, our entire world, has been turned upside down’
‘Till we meet and sing together again. Good night dad My absolute king. Your Bubberloo.
‘I have learned that grief is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but you can’t. All that unspent love accumulates in the corner of your eyes, in the lump of your throat and in that hollow part of your chest. Pain is simply love with no place to go.
Sophie did not reveal the cause of her father’s death in the heartfelt statement.
In April, Sophie revealed that her father had been in hospital for three weeks.
She said at the time: ‘So, my dad is in the hospital right now.
‘My dad has never been blessed, let’s say, with fantastic health, from his chest, his lungs, his heart. He’s always had problems.’
Sophie then spoke about how, when her father retired, she made him a workshop at her £1 million “forever home” farm.
She said she had filled the workshop with wood and tools so he “could live out this dream he’s had since he was a little boy.”
Sophie had said her father was in “very good hands” at the hospital and praised the “amazing” nurses who cared for her beloved dad.
Sophie shared a sweet photo from when she was younger on a bike ride with her dad.
The influencer shared this loving photo of her father with his grandchildren Ronnie, four, and Lennie, two.
Mrs Hinch shared another photo of her father reading his speech at her wedding.
