A major police operation is underway in Mosman, one of Sydney’s most exclusive harbor suburbs, near the Buena pub.
Police are currently speaking to a man at the scene, but no arrests have been made.
Residents said Tactical Operations officers with high-powered rifles entered a home located near the Buena pub and removed a man very quickly.
“When the Riot Squad van turned up we were very alarmed and the police used a loudspeaker to warn the man that they were coming to look for him,” reports Mosman Collective.
The streets were blocked for some time and passengers were removed from the buses.
Police told Daily Mail Australia there is no threat to the community, however residents are urged to avoid Prince Albert Street this morning.
