Police are looking for the scooter rider who opened fire on a group of people in the Bronx, injuring one person.

Surveillance footage showed four men at a sidewalk on Wales Ave around 7 p.m. Thursday. near E. 152nd St. in Woodstock in the Bronx, New York City, when two men on a scooter drove past.

Whoever was in the back of the scooter suddenly got up, pulled out a gun and started firing.

The group quickly dispersed, two fell to the ground and one man even rolled under the car.

A 28-year-old man, whose name was not released, was shot once in the left leg and was rushed to Jacobi Hospital. He has been treated and since his release, The daily news reported.

An NYPD police spokesman told DailyMail.com that “they are investigating all possibilities as to why the shots were fired.”

“It is not clear at this time whether it is a gang or a targeted shooting,” a police spokesman said. “It’s being investigated.”

Police released the surveillance footage on Saturday and are calling for the public’s help in locating the gunman. A reward of up to $3,500 will be offered.

The gunman was dressed in blue jeans, white sneakers and a white puffy jacket. He had his hood over his head as he stood on the back of the bike and aimed his gun straight at the crowd.

The scooter driver was wearing jeans, black sneakers and a black helmet over a blue hooded jacket. Both suspects were found to be wearing some sort of face covering.

Surveillance footage shows victims taking cover and hiding behind parked cars.

One man crawls off the sidewalk onto his stomach, while another scene hides under a car before the scooter disappears, the news channel reported.

Officials said no arrests have been made.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All conversations are treated confidentially.
