This is the horrific moment a man was gored to death by a bull during a traditional street bull run in Spain, after tripping over a sidewalk while the animal chased him.
The victim was identified as a 57-year-old resident of Xirivella, Spain, who was gored in La Vall de Uxo on Sunday while participating in a bull run meant to honor the town’s Christian saints.
The bull chased the runners down two streets. As he turned a corner onto the second street, the victim tripped over the curb and fell.
Dramatic footage shows the bull charging at him as he is about to get up, not allowing him to escape.
He repeatedly punches and gores the man while he is lying on the ground.
Other runners gather around and watch helplessly as the bull lifts the impaled man with its horns and throws him against a wall, then continues attacking him.

He refuses to back down even though others even risk their own safety to divert the bull’s attention, ultimately leaving the victim motionless on the ground as the video ends.
Those closest to him were finally able to evacuate the 57-year-old man on a stretcher to a place away from the bull.
They put him in an ambulance and took him to a hospital, but once there he suffered cardiac arrest.
Doctors later declared him dead after all resuscitation attempts failed.
After the incident, the Vall de Uxo City Council has suspended all events scheduled for the rest of the day. He has expressed his deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.
This was reportedly the third incident in which a person was attacked by a bull during last week’s festival, although none were fatal.
The first incident occurred on Thursday, when a spectator was gored while watching the bullfights from behind a mousetrap in a house. He suffered a minor leg injury when he managed to protect himself from the animal.
On Saturday, another individual received up to four goring wounds in various parts of the body. He had an accident similar to yesterday, slipping on a curve.
