In her new book, out October 10, Miranda takes readers through the “treasures she learned in the dark” in the final chapter of her life and also hints at sharing her own love story.
Taking to Instagram, she made the announcement, explaining in typical Miranda fashion: “Hi, I have some big news I want to share. I’m so excited, I have a little bit of sweat on my upper lip from the level of excitement and possibly a little bit of reflux.
‘It’s about my book. I can now tell you that my book will be available for pre-order in all good bookstores starting October 10th.
“It’s called I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You,” an intriguing title I hear you say, Miranda, thank you very much!
‘I’m being honest here and saying this: I’ve been through a very unexpected decade in my life, in which I’ve had surprising and incredible joys, but I’ve also had some equally surprising and really difficult challenges.
‘All the tests and trials I’ve been through are here when you buy it… Here I am, I’m intact, I’ve made it through.
‘So I’m sharing the treasures I learned in the dark and the things that helped me live and feel free, joyful, at peace and physically restored in ways I never thought possible.
“So I guess there’s always hope, no matter what you’re going through right now. None of us get through life without trials and tribulations, right?”

The comedian, who has so far kept her relationships very private, also revealed that she will be speaking openly about her own love story.
“Even though it may not seem like it, there are some laughs along the way and some funny stories to tell.”
She joked: “And I couldn’t say if there’s a love story or not, that would be revealing. No, there isn’t… there is! I’m very excited about that.”
Continuing in the epigraph she added: ‘During a difficult decade I was forced to stay still and research and study many good and wise scientists, physiologists, neuroscientists and even the occasional sociologist (all the ‘ists’).

“I hope my story helps you (don’t worry, there’s something very funny in it!). We’re all in this together, dear friends.”
