Mindy Kaling enjoyed a day at the beach as she celebrated the Fourth of July in her first appearance since announcing she had become a mother of three.
The Office alum, 45, was spotted surfing the waves in Malibu on Thursday in a look that showed off her incredible physique.
She was wearing a white swimsuit and red shorts paired with a wide-brimmed straw hat that protected her from the scorching rays of the sun.
Mindy smiled happily as she entered the water, letting her legs cool off as she walked through knee-deep water.

The smiles continued on dry land, where Mindy walked barefoot through the sand.
That same day, Mindy gave fans a glimpse of her Independence Day celebrations with her three children: daughters Katherine, six, Anne, and son Spencer, three.
“An Independence Day with sandy, salty skin, no makeup, icy, perfect waves, lots of sunscreen, frost, and hours spent outdoors,” she wrote in the caption.
In one particularly touching image, Mindy can be seen smiling beatifically at the camera as she cradled her newborn daughter, Anne, whose face was left out of frame.
Her two other children were photographed playing with toys in the backyard, and later seen on video running around on rocks at the beach.
Mindy also included a video that showed a bird’s-eye view of little Anne sitting comfortably on her lap as they enjoyed the sea air together.
She clearly made sure the holiday was filled with treats for her kids, including themed cupcakes with American flag-colored frosting.
The beach day comes more than a week after Mindy announced she had welcomed her third child: a baby girl named Anne. Mindy gave birth to Anne in late February after a secret pregnancy.
She donned a white swimsuit under a pair of red shorts for the sun-soaked occasion.

Kaling announced the happy news on her 45th birthday on June 24, calling Anne “the best birthday present I could have ever imagined.”
“At the end of February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. She is the best birthday present I could have ever imagined. When things get tough, when I tend to slip into cynicism, my three children are a great reminder of the pure joy that is in my life,” the new mother of three posted on Instagram.
“I’m so lucky to live in a place where I could do this on my own, at my own pace. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!”
The post included a snap of Mindy’s baby bump, along with a sweet snap of her two other children bonding with their new sibling.
The post also contained an image of Mindy sitting on the hospital bed, surrounded by her two children.
Mindy has not yet revealed who the father of her children is, and said The New York Timesin 2019, before her son was born: ‘My feeling is that until I talk to my daughter about it, I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it.’
The actress looked in a very good mood during the outing.
Kaling has three children: daughters Anne and Katherine and son Spencer.
The beachy look showed off her fit physique.
However, his co-star on The Office, BJ Novak, is notably Katherine and Spencer’s godfather.
In August 2022, Kaling told Entertainment Tonight: “He’s so good with kids. He literally wrote a best-selling book called The Book of No Pictures for Children.”
The Never Have I Ever creator added: “It’s something that comes naturally to him, like being with children. So he’s a great godfather.”
There have been rumors that Novak is Katherine and Spencer’s father, rumors that the actress has denied.
That same day, Mindy shared snapshots of her Independence Day celebrations with her children on her Instagram.

She had previously addressed these speculations during an interview with Marie Claire, revealing: “I’m not bothered by it. He’s the godfather of my two children and they have a great relationship.”
The Ocean’s 8 actress previously spoke about her decision to become a mother during an interview with Glamor In 2019, she told the magazine: “I always knew I wanted to be a mother, but I would have put it off over and over again. I’m just happy it happened when it did.”

She said her late mother Swati, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2012, was a huge inspiration to her and explained: ‘For me, my relationship with my mother was an integral part of my life.
