The mother of a television real estate agent and his identical twin brother, accused of gang rape, urged her children to smile during a preliminary court appearance.
Orly Alexander was seen encouraging her children to put on a friendly face as a judge set bail for her sons Oren and Alon Alexander, both 37, at a total of $5 million.
The twins, along with their older brother Tal Alexander, 38, have been federally indicted on allegations that they drugged and raped dozens of women over an 11-year period.
All three brothers have pleaded not guilty to the crimes, which prosecutors say amount to a long-running sex trafficking scheme.
At Oren and Alon’s first court appearance on Thursday, the twins’ father, Shlomy, was also seen trying to give orders to his sons, affected by the scandal.
Shlomy was seen appearing to encourage the children to make eye contact while his wife mouthed “smile” while flashing a smile and blowing a kiss.
The parents were later photographed frowning and arms crossed from the gallery.
However, Shlomy cheered up as they left, as he had a huge smile on his face moments after hearing the disgusting accusations against his children.

Shlomy and Orly Alexander (center and right), the parents of a television real estate agent and his identical twin brother accused of rape, urged their children to smile during a preliminary court appearance.
Her son Oren Alexander, 37, has been charged along with two of his brothers for alleged rapes.
When asked in court how he was doing, Shlomy raised his eyebrows and replied: ‘Great!’
At a Miami-Dade court hearing, Oren’s bail was set at $3 million, while Alon’s was set at $2 million.
Tal was ordered held without bail after appearing in federal court on Friday.
The decision likely means the twins will also be denied bail when they appear in federal court in Miami next week, as the proposed security package would have covered all three.
Federal prosecutor Lauren Astigarraga argued that if Tal, who is Jewish, fled to his parents’ homeland, Israel, on a private jet, it would be difficult or impossible to extradite him to the United States.
The 38-year-old likely faces life in prison if convicted on all charges.
Judge Lisette Reid agreed, calling Tal a flight risk in rejecting his family’s promise of $115 million in real estate to secure his release.
The Alexander brothers gained national attention after allegations against them became public months ago.
His sons Oren and Alon Alexander, 37, have been accused of running a gang rape ring along with their older brother Tal, 38.
Oren and Tal Alexander had become luxury real estate stars after co-founding their real estate firm, Official, which specialized in high-end properties in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
FBI Special Agent Justine Atwood testified Friday that approximately 40 women who mostly do not know each other have made similar allegations of being lured by the brothers to luxurious vacation spots and homes in Florida and New York, being drugged and then raped
He said there are graphic videos, photographs and text messages exchanged between the brothers that substantiate the allegations.
Alexander’s attorney, Milton Williams Jr., argued that while the allegations are serious, the evidence is thin.
Defending his proposed nine-figure bail package, Williams said the family would lose all their wealth if any of the brothers fled. He said Tal Alexander is married and has a two-week-old baby, so he is unlikely to flee.
After losing his bail argument, Alexander agreed to be transported to a federal jail in New York, where federal charges were filed Wednesday.
Earlier on Friday in state court, Circuit Judge Lody Jean had granted bail requests by his twin brothers, whose bail was secured by their father’s home in Bal Harbour, Florida.
“I am convinced that these are reasonable conditions that all of you have created,” Jean told the lawyers.
Among the women who made accusations against Tal Alexander (pictured) was a star of the television show Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
The Alexander brothers, known as star real estate agents alongside Douglas Elliman, have been arrested along with their brother Tal (center) amid accusations of rape, sex trafficking and sexual assault.
But because of the federal charges, the brothers still could not be released.
Authorities arrested the brothers Wednesday on charges related to sex crime allegations in Miami and a federal sex trafficking case in New York City.
A federal indictment accuses the brothers of using their wealth to lure, drug, sexually assault and rape multiple women over more than a decade.
The Alexander twins are also charged by the state of Florida for three separate cases of alleged sexual assault.
Oren faces three separate charges, while Alon faces only one charge.
