One of her main mentors is Dolly Parton.

Cyrus grew up on a farm outside Nashville, then moved to Los Angeles with her family (her father is country icon Billy Ray Cyrus) after being cast in Hannah Montana.

Miley also credited her mother Tish for keeping her normal when she was making a fortune with Disney.

“My mom said I had to buy me a Nissan or a Toyota like my other brothers,” Cyrus shared.

‘She was never afraid to take my cell phone away. Even when I paid my own cell phone bill!

“I always said, ‘Mom, that’s for kids who don’t pay their own cell phone bill.’ And she says, I don’t care. You’re not getting your phone.

The magazine said: “She is a free spirit and an old soul, a Disney legend and a Grammy winner.”
