Mikel Arteta hopes his secret Marcelo Bielsa file will help Arsenal win again today at Leeds and help captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score again.
The rookie Arsenal coach faces manager legend Bielsa for the first time, but claims he has the inside.
“I haven’t spent time with him, but I know a lot of players (who played for him) and one of my best friends has spent many, many years with him,” Arteta revealed. So I know a lot about his methods, who he is as a person, who he is as a manager and I admire him.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta claims to have the insides of Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa
‘I’ve been following his work, his way of playing, the way he can instantly change a football club with his mindset and the messages he sends, with his personality, charisma, and I am very impressed with what he has done in England since joining Leeds.
‘He transformed the club. He has changed the belief of everyone in the club, fans, that they could come back and be the club they were a few years ago. ‘
Asked to identify his Bielsa insider, Arteta answered intriguingly, “I’d rather not say it, but they worked as a player and then next to him.”

Regardless, Arteta is looking for a positive response from a side humiliated at home against Aston Villa before the international break.
And without the injured Thomas Partey to cheer up, Arteta Aubameyang wants to help improve his return of just one goal from open play since the first game of a season when he only had ten shots on target.
Arteta admitted, “We need to help him more. I think he knows what he can do and the things he needs to improve in his game to be more decisive.
‘It will come. I have not known a single striker in the world who has never had a period where he does not score that much for 10 years.
Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has had a frustrating time in front of goal lately
It’s how you navigate through that period and how quickly you get back to what you’ve always done. That is normal for them.
“Just take a natural path without putting too much pressure on yourself, and we as coaches look for ways to help him as best we can.”
Arteta is open to restoring the Gabon international to a pivotal standout role and playing a new formation to fight Leeds as well.
He explained, “I think we have players who are really good at running behind and using spaces when they are open, and you create situations with benefits for the player on the ball to generate and exploit those spaces.”
