Mick Molloy shocked his listeners on Wednesday by revealing that his house was once emptied during a burglary – except for one surprising item which the burglars did not take.

The Triple M radio host, 57, told listeners on his breakfast show Mick & MG In The Morning that the crooks did not appear to be fans of his 2002 comedy film Crackerjack.

‘My house was broken into, everything of value was stolen. “All my DVDs and CDs…except Crackerjack, which they left on the coffee table,” she said.

Molloy made his film acting debut in the comedy Crackerjack, which focused on his character fighting to save his bowling club from closure.

The film was a huge box office success in the country, being the highest-grossing Australian film of the year, and also boasts a massive 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Mick couldn’t understand why the thieves didn’t steal his hit movie: “When the police came that was the only thing I was complaining about, why would they let her?”

The veteran host has earned a reputation for speaking openly about his personal life and in 2020 revealed that he is single and quietly waiting for a woman to slide into his DMs.

The former Channel Nine star, who is the proud father of 11-year-old twins Fred and Lenny, claimed he had “not completely given up” on finding the one, telling the Herald Sun: “Ladies, if there is some degree of interest, there, I’m on Insta.’

When asked if he had ever tried dating apps, he added: “You can’t do it because you look like an idiot.” It doesn’t make sense, but that’s how it is today.

He added: “I’ve been very lucky in my life to have some important relationships and now is not that time, and I’m comfortable with that.”

Throughout his life, Mick has enjoyed several romances.

In the early ’90s, he dated actress Sophie Lee for about six years.

In 2012, Mick welcomed his twins with his partner Angie, but kept his identity private as he did not appear in the media; It is not known exactly how or when they separated.

In March 2017, Mick began dating Real Housewives Of Melbourne star Susie McLean; However, the couple’s romance ended in September of the same year.

She had previously gushed about their relationship, telling The Herald Sun at the time that he was “the most brilliant man” she had ever met.
