Michael and Kyly Clarke shared subtle endorsements in the aftermath of their shock split and promised to maintain a harmonious family unit for the sake of their young daughter.
Australia’s former cricket captain (38) and his seven-year-old wife were allegedly divorced in September, but kept their divorce secret until it was announced on Wednesday.
High school lovers said that the “friendly” decision was “the best course” for their four-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee.
In the days prior to the announcement, the couple focused on little Kelsey Lee, making them the driving force behind a harmonious end to their marriage – emphasizing the defining role they will play in both lives.

On Monday, Clarke posted a tender drawing of him holding Kelsey Lee’s hand as they walk to the water on a beach. He endorsed the “Right next to you”
Then, Wednesday, just a few hours before the news of their divorce made the national headlines, Kyly echoed Clarke’s sentiment by posting a photo of her and Kelsey Lee
On Monday, Clarke posted a drawing of him holding Kelsey Lee’s hand as they walked to the water on a beach.
“Right next to you,” the former test skipper wrote the sweet post, along with the hashtags “#love #family #myangel.”
Then, Wednesday, just a few hours before the news of their divorce made the national headlines, Kyly repeated Clarke’s sentiment.
The house rules judge placed a black-and-white photo of her embrace of Kelsey Lee with the title “It’s Wednesday … Twinning.”
Both posts were ‘liked’ by each other, further confirming their commitment to peaceful co-parenting.
Kyly was seen Thursday afternoon picking up their only child, Kelsey-Lee, from kindergarten in the exclusive suburb of Sydney in Vaucluse, hours after her future ex-husband dropped off the four-year-old
The Clarkes are said to have already agreed to the conditions for their upcoming divorce – as well as arrangements to co-parent their daughter – without going to court
Clarke has previously spoken about the impact that the divorce of his parents had on him and how it made him reluctant to enter into a committed relationship.
“Their breakup has deeply affected me. When I broke up with my then fiancée Lara Bingle in 2010, part of the undercurrent in my thinking is that if a couple like mom and dad can’t make it, what hope I have, “he wrote in his 2016 autobiography My Story .
‘I don’t even want to start a serious relationship if it ends in a divorce.
‘Mom and Dad are my heroes, and their marriage has always been a sort of golden standard for (sister) Leanne and me. I cannot imagine that I would measure up to my parents’ partnership. How can I do it if they can’t? “
“It takes a long time before I get over that fear. When Kyly Boldy and I started dating, I spoke to her about it. “
Clarke said that there was a “power of love” between him and Kyly that helped him get beyond his own doubt of himself.
Clarke and Kyly (born Boldy) met at Westfields Sports High School in Fairfield, but were not friends until they connected to Twitter after his split with model Lara Worthington.
He said they talked about his fear of divorce in the early stages of their romance.
“When Kyly Boldy and I start dating, I’ll open it up with her. There is a strong love between us that helps me overcome my self-doubt, “he wrote.

In November the couple joined McDonalds for Kelsey-Lee’s birthday, and Mrs. Clarke shared photos of her smiling with her family while wearing her wedding ring
According to the Australian, the couple divorced five months ago when Clarke moved into his $ 8 million investment property on Bondi Beach.
However, until Wednesday evening, Mrs. Clarke continued to wear her wedding ring and pose for happy family photos in an attempt to keep up appearances.
Only two days ago she showed off the asterisk in a photo shoot that was shared on her Instagram page.
In November, the couple united for McDsey-Lee’s birthday at McDonalds, and Mrs. Clarke shared photos of her laughing with her family while wearing her wedding ring.
The following month, the Clarkes again seemed to be the perfect couple when they celebrated Mrs. Clarke’s 50-year marriage in Sydney.
Just a few days later, the couple shared a Christmas photo with Santa Claus on a Christmas Eve in Sydney Westfield with the entire Clarke clan close together for the festive photo.
But, in a sign that they were about to announce their split, the couple both posted separate photos with their daughter this week.
The Clarkes are said to have already agreed to the conditions for their upcoming divorce – as well as arrangements to co-educate their daughter – without going to court.
“After living apart for a while, we made the difficult decision to divorce like a couple,” said the Australian Diary’s Media Diary.
“With the utmost respect for each other, we have come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best path we can follow while we are committed to co-parenting our daughter.”

Clarke made headlines in November 2018 when he and his bikini-clad assistant, Sasha Armstrong, were seen on Sydney Harbor aboard a super yacht.
The couple enjoyed a swim in the ocean and had a long conversation while relaxing in the sun.
A ‘source’ reportedly told Women’s Day that Kyly was ‘furious’ after seeing photos of her husband Michael on a luxury yacht with his blonde assistant.
‘Of course she is annoyed by the images. Which woman wouldn’t that be? ‘A cricket insider told the magazine at the time.
Kyly rubbed the suggestion when she spoke to Daily Mail Australia in January 2019 and said her six-year marriage to Michael was still going well.
“We are not, never were, and will never separate,” she said.
The mother-of-one added the key to a happy marriage by keeping regular date nights.
“Always keep going,” Kyly said. “Have those date nights so that you always keep everything nice and fresh.”

Clarke was seen on Thursday with a few drinks with friends after being dropped off at a Bondi Beach bar by Mrs. Armstrong.
He was photographed on his way to Hotel Ravesis on Campbell Parade accompanied by Sky Sports producer Ben Lloyd and friend and footy coach Laurie Daley.
Clarke seemed to be in a good mood during the friendly outing – but remained unobtrusive, wearing a completely black dress with a black baseball cap.
Earlier Mrs. Armstrong was dropped off at the group of friends, but did not seem to keep drinking.
The split is the second of Clarke’s high-profile relationship issues.
In 2010, he revealed that he had divorced himself with fiancee Lara Bingle, who was the face of Scott Morrison’s Tourism 2006 in Australia, “where the hell are you?” Marketing campaign.
It became widely known that Bingle flushed her engagement ring down the toilet of his Bondi apartment – a claim that Clarke denied.
Clarke made his debut for Australia at the age of 21 in 2003. He was captain from 2011 to 2015 when he handed it over to Steve Smith.
