Met Police dismiss Two Officers for sharing inappropriate WhatsApp messages about Katie Price’s disabled son

Date:

Two Metropolitan Police officers have been fired for sending discriminatory messages to colleagues in a WhatsApp group, including messages about Katie Price’s disabled son.

Eight Met agents have been charged with misconduct after calling in sick about her son, 20.

Speaking to 5 News, the model Katie, 44, said she was “over the moon” with the decision and said the officers involved should be “ashamed” and “ashamed” of the disgusting comments about her son.

Between May 17, 2016 and June 26, 2018, the officers — seven men and one woman — were found to have sent sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, and disparaging remarks in a WhatsApp group called “Secret Squirrel S***.”

Legal chairman Christopher McKay described gross misconduct as a “breach of standards of professional conduct so serious as to warrant dismissal” on Thursday at the fifth hearing at Palestra House in Southwark, London.

“I hope they are ashamed to know what their family is going through and I hope all their names and police photos get out because I would love to see their faces and they should be named and shamed…

“And hopefully they’ll never serve the police force again, and if they ever get another job, it’ll go on their resume, because I’ll tell you what, there won’t be many people who want to hire them later on. this…

“Would you hire someone if you know they do this sort of thing? Because I know I wouldn’t. So it will affect them for the rest of their lives. And I hope so, because they deserve it, they are disgusting.’

When asked about her reaction to the news, she revealed that she was “absolutely over the moon,” going, “It’s time for justice to be done…

“Not only that they are professionals that we trust, we should trust who did this… and now an example will be given and something will be done.”

She added: “What I’ve seen and read, what these police officers have said is beyond anything you can ever imagine how evil and hateful people can actually be, and how they even think it’s funny…

“It’s actually disgusting…Harvey doesn’t deserve this, no one deserves this.”

Katie said she doubted she would take Harvey to court for their sentencing: “I don’t know if I should come to court with Harvey…

“Number one so the cops can face Harvey and see how innocent he is, but of course I don’t want to use Harvey as bait…

“Because it’s not fair to Harvey too, but it’s like I want them to see what they’ve done, for someone like Harvey, how innocent he is. Why did he deserve that? You know? I’m unsure what to do.’
