One of Australia’s all-time favorite racers – ‘Fairy Floss Girl’ – is no longer a wild kid, having settled down and raising a little boy.
Karly Tsivoglou, 19, set the internet on fire when she was caught by the Daily Mail Australia without her hands doing fairy tales on Melbourne’s Ladies Day in 2016.
The photos went viral across the country – with KIIS FM’s Kyle Sandilands gushing that she was “hotter” than Selena Gomez.
Along with ‘Fairy Floss Girl’, several other race goers have stopped the nation from their antics, including ‘Wheelie Bin Girl’ and the ‘Cop Pusher’ in 2015.
Asked how she feels about her famous photos that resurface every year at the Melbourne Cup, Ms Tsivoglou recently told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I’m happy about that’.

Ms Tsivoglou said she and her friend Alice Woodfall “dipped a few glasses of champagne, placed a few bets and just enjoyed the sun” during the races and didn’t have any idea of her internet stardom until the next morning.
“I woke up this morning to so many messages and screenshots of the photos! I was genuinely shocked!’ she then said.
“My social media accounts have been going crazy all morning!”
Ms Tsivoglou said she had received many compliments at the races but was shocked by the number of people who “expressed their love” when her photos went viral.
“A few people claimed they were in love with me,” she said.
“But both Alice and I received many positive compliments throughout the day.”

However, her online presence has taken a turn for the worse in recent years, with the new mom focusing on her little boy.
The photos show the mother-son duo enjoying arts and crafts, days at the beach and bath time.
However, she, Mrs. Tsivoglou, still manages to get the occasional glamorous photo.
Almost every year during the Melbourne Cup, Sandilands brings out Ms Tsivoglou’s memorable photos.

“But hotter,” Kyle added.
The Sydney radio host brought up the ‘Fairy Floss Girl’ again in a November 2020 segment covering the Melbourne Cup’s most iconic moments.
“God, I can’t remember,” his co-host “Jackie O” told him. “Why was that so memorable?”
Kyle shot back defensively, “Because she was a pretty brown girl. She was just beautiful. She was hoeing that big wand.’

Other memorable participants in the races included ‘Wheelie Bin Girl’ – who made headlines after riding a Sulo box as a horse at the 2016 Cup – and Sarah Finn, who infamously pushed a police officer into a bush. .
That woman, Jade Jillings, later came forward and said she was “just laughing” and blamed free champagne being available at the event.
“It’s really difficult and embarrassing,” the 23-year-old told the Daily Mail Australia at the time.
It is now believed that Ms. Jillings works in the racing industry.

A year earlier at the 2015 Melbourne Cup event, 23-year-old Sarah Finn caught the attention of the country for dramatically pushing a police officer into a bush.
Finn was filmed running up to the officer and pushing him into the bushes outside the event before two other officers dove in and arrested her.
She was fined a year later and convicted of the assault while wearing a blue dress eerily similar to her infamous Melbourne Cup outfit.
During the proceedings, Finn told the court that she hadn’t had much to drink at the event, but was “slightly tipsy” and had asked media staff what she needed to do to “get in the news.”
Ms FInn was fined $800 by a court and has not been heard from publicly since.
