Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins was attacked by a snake on Tuesday in the episode I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
The Bachelor star, 35, was instructed to place his hand in a cage with a snake for 30 seconds to win food for the camp.
He approached the hissing animal and before putting his hand in the nest he said, “He doesn’t look happy either.”
The animal grabbed Nick’s wrist and bit into it, while the former footballer looked distressed as a snake wrapped its jaw around his hand.
He grimaced in pain, as host Dr. Chris Brown quickly explained that the animal was a non-venomous python.

It soon became apparent that Nick was bleeding, with a stream dripping from his injured hand, and a snake handler was called in to free the reptile from Nick’s arm.
Host Chris Brown quickly called a medic to the scene and Nick’s injured hand was treated for the injury.
‘He’s fine. I thought his skin might be a bit tougher than honey badger. I think we’ll be fine,” the doctor joked.
Nick quickly recovered and took part in the next challenge, winning ten stars out of a possible 13.

It comes after the news that Nick is raking in a whopping salary package for his time on I’m A Celebrity.
He is believed to have been paid a whopping $300,000 for his performance on the show, making his fee the highest reported to date.
“His deal is said to be worth about $250,000 to $300,000, making him one of the highest paid camp mates this year,” an insider tells me. Yahoo lifestyle.
“It’s a little less than the $500,000 he got for The Bachelor, but this is a shorter production with fewer requirements and rules,” they added.
