MasterChef Australia star Shannon Bennett has been roasted online after sharing a shocking clip on social media of the unconventional way she prepares scrambled eggs.
The celebrity chef, 48, posted the images on Instagram, which capture him enthusiastically preparing the dish in his expensive $400 Le Creuset casserole dish.
However, Shannon told fans that she wouldn’t make it the conventional way with “water, milk and cream,” which she explained would “dilute the eggs.”
“It’s just beaten eggs with a little butter and salt. That’s it,” Shannon told her followers, as she got to work preparing the breakfast staple.
She then cracked raw eggs into a frying pan and began whisking them before pouring in olive oil and letting the recipe simmer.
The culinary expert grabbed his expensive Le Creuset saucepan and poured the hot eggs into it, then quickly scraped them with a spatula before happily telling his fans that the meal was ready.
