The bodies of a woman and a teenage girl have been found in a house in northwest Sydney.
Police were called to a home in Menzies Road, Marsfield, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Police found the bodies of the two women inside.
The woman, believed to be in her 50s, and the girl, believed to be in her teens, have yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene was established and detectives began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
