It’s no secret that Tristan Black and Cassandra Allen’s experience on Married at First Sight has been anything but a fairytale.
But it looks like their marriage won’t last for long, if a comment during an interview with Daily Mail Australia is anything to go by.
Asked where he currently stands with Cass, the 30-year-old Northern Beaches-based DJ revealed: ‘I’ve put my guard back up a bit, which is a bit annoying.’
‘We is still very close, but it’s just a bit of a hurdle,” he added.
“At the end of the day, like I said before, “there’s one thing me and Cass do well, and that’s number one, honesty, and number two, trying.””

“We’re going to give this marriage our best shot and hopefully we can just work it out, if we can’t, I know one thing is that no matter what happens, I still want Cass in my life,” Tristan continued.
It comes as leaked images emerged of several couples, including Tristan and bride Cassandra Allen, arriving at the Alexandria grounds together to film the show’s reunion.
The bombshell paparazzi photos seem to prove that Tristan and Cassandra are ending the show together or at least ending as friends.

Elsewhere during the tell-all interview, Tristan addressed his thoughts on recent leaked private text messages between himself and Jack, which were made public by former MAFS groom Harrison Boon.
“I was really upset, actually,” he revealed. ‘At the end of the day, I just get upset when people just leak any of my text messages and it wasn’t cool.’
‘It’s a private place, but at the exact same time, I think it just shows me that maybe he’s not as upset as he’s pretending to be.
“Just because we all make mistakes, we’re all human… but sometimes you have to learn to just deal with it and not try to fix it again if that makes sense. Yeah, I was actually pretty annoyed by that.”
Married at First Sight continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.
