The 51-year-old reality star took to his Instagram account to share that he bought a plane, a month after revealing on A Current Affair that he was a convicted drug trafficker who served more than a year in a US prison.
‘I bought a plane!!!!! But there’s a twist,” Tim captioned the post.
The accompanying video showed Tim and his co-star Jonathan McCullough removing the wings of the plane to place it on a trailer.
Tim’s former on-screen partner Lucinda Light couldn’t resist making a cheeky comment about the vehicle’s small proportions.

This surprising purchase comes after Timothy’s shocking revelation about his past.
Timothy, who was living in Vancouver at the time, used a helicopter to illegally smuggle large quantities of marijuana from Canada to the United States.
His sordid story was revealed by A Current Affair in April, leaving viewers shocked to learn that the real estate mogul had spent more than a year behind bars.
Tim’s former screenmate Lucinda Light couldn’t resist making a cheeky comment to the MAFS star.
“I would leave from a small unmanned airport and fly down a valley to a stream where I would meet an all-terrain vehicle… within a minute, the helicopter would be loaded,” he explained.
Timothy was eventually captured by police in Los Angeles when he returned to the country after visiting his sick mother in Australia.
He was sentenced for “trafficking marijuana across an international border” in 2006 and spent additional time in an immigration detention center.
Timothy, who was living in Vancouver at the time, said he used a helicopter to illegally smuggle large quantities of marijuana from Canada to the US.
