Mark Zuckerberg looks relaxed as he boards Hawaii

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was spotted in Hawaii on Sunday, where the billionaire appeared relaxed as he headed for a foiling session.

It is the third time in a month that the multibillionaire in the state of Aloha has been basking in the sun.

On his latest island adventure, 37-year-old Zuckerberg saw two assistants appear to prepare a hydrofoil surfboard for use on an undisclosed beach.

A second image shows him looking backwards as he straddles a jet ski dragging the board. He wears an anklet that resembles a Sharkbanz, which uses magnetic technology to keep sharks away.

Once at the correct depth, Zuckerberg separated his board from the jet ski and held on to a rope that pulled him along.

Zuckerberg was accompanied by a man and a woman, who remained on the jet ski as he towed after it.

Despite his fortune, he kept his clothes simple, wearing coral shorts and a pair of Adidas flip flops that sell for just $25.

Beat of Hawaii reported in April that Zuckerberg had purchased an additional 600 acres on the island of Kauai, where he was pictured on a hydrofoil during the summer.

The property was apparently sold a month earlier for more than $50 million by a local family who can trace the property back to the Kingdom of Hawaii.

With the additional 600 acres, Zuckerberg now owns a total of more than 1,300 acres on Kauai.

Last month, Zuckerberg was photographed playing with his water toys on two consecutive weekends.

On one occasion, he was pictured riding a jet ski with his wife Priscilla Chan, enjoying his hydrofoil surfboard and strolling along the sandy beaches.

A foilboard is similar to a traditional surfboard, but is equipped with a hydrofoil that lifts the board a few meters above the water.

Foiling is a popular pastime for Zuckerberg, who has seen waves in Hawaii countless times.

Things didn’t always go smoothly for the tech mogul, though.

Last December, an animated Zuckerberg was seen frantically flapping his arms as he honed his hydrofoil skills in Hawaii before spectacularly wiped out.

It was the second time in just over a month that he had fun in the water on his $12,000 Efoil board, which allows users to glide above the water at speeds of up to 40 mph.

In July 2020, Zuckerberg became the laughingstock of the internet when images of him plastered over in sunscreen while surfing Hawaii fused together.

The photos sparked memes and jokes from social media users calling him a “mime surfer” and wondering if Zuckerberg was taking styling advice from a snake.

He claimed this year that he “applied a ton of sunscreen on my face” in a plan that “backfired” to avoid being recognized.
