Marisa Abela has revealed she is engaged to West End star Jamie Bogyo.
The actress, who played Amy Winehouse in the biopic Back To Black, shared the news in an Instagram post on Sunday, admitting she was a “blubbering mess”.
Jamie shared photos and videos of the moment, captioned: ‘He said he’d think about it!’, with Marisa commenting: ‘A crying mess.’
In an apparent sweet nod to the late singer Amy, whom Marisa achieved worldwide fame performing, the couple celebrated in Primrose Hill, one of Amy’s favourite places.
In Jamie’s post, Marisa can be seen jumping into her partner’s arms after he got down on one knee in the park to give her a sweet hug.

Back To Black premiered in April and saw Marisa take on the role of the late singer-songwriter with scenes depicting her tumultuous marriage to Blake (played by Jack O’Connell).
The actress was then surprised by her friends and family who had gathered to congratulate the couple on their happy news.
An adorable photo holding a rose also allowed Marisa to show off her massive diamond ring.
Marisa and Jamie celebrated their fourth anniversary together in January.
Jamie is also an actor after making his professional debut in the West End adaptation of Moulin Rouge, where he originated the role of Christian.
Last year she starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspect Of Love, which ran for a limited run from May to August.
Back To Black premiered in April and saw Marisa take on the role of the late singer-songwriter Amy, with scenes depicting her tumultuous marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil (played by Jack O’Connell).
Blake, who was married to the singer from 2007 to 2009, has previously admitted to introducing her to heroin and is widely held responsible for her death from alcohol poisoning when she was just 27 in 2011.
Although Back To Black catapulted Marisa to fame, the biopic, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, was described by film critics as a “bad piece of filmmaking” and a “Saturday night imitation of the star.”

Marisa previously revealed the strict regimen she followed to shrink herself down to Amy’s slender figure, telling Harper’s Bazaar UK The fact that she “felt more fragile” helped her with her characterization.
“I got help to do it safely; I saw a nutritionist and they were monitoring me. Feeling more fragile and smaller helped me; before I hadn’t understood how much that affects the rhythm,” explained the actress.
‘During her Frank era (in 2005, when her first album was released), Amy is fast, loud and boisterous with her arms, her movements are big.’
“When I started changing, I realized that I couldn’t physically do those same movements. Sitting is uncomfortable. You’re tired, you’re hungry, you’re more exposed.”
Marisa also explained that she developed a connection with Amy because she also grew up in a Jewish home.
“The more I got to know her, the more I felt a connection with this prickly Jewish girl from London who had a lot to say and was fearless.”
‘I remembered how I felt when I was young, seeing that proud and calm woman, sporting a big Star of David between a cleavage and a pretty bra.’
“I understood what a Friday night dinner would be like at his house, the mood that reigned in his family. I loved how effervescent he was, his huge soul, how he permeated any room he was in.
“But also her relationship with her art form and her desire to be good. That was the most important thing.”
