Maria Thattil was a lady in red when she arrived on Revelry Runway at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2024 on Friday.

The former Miss Universe Australia attracted attention with the matching top and pants set.

The 31-year-old chose a sleeveless top in an orange-red tone that she combined with pants of the same tone.

The beauty queen chose a peach makeup look that complemented her makeup and included dark tangerine lipstick.

She wore her brunette locks around her face and carried a white bag while adding heels of the same color.

María posed with her brother, Dom Thattil, who surprised with a spectacular black top combined with shorts.

It comes after the stunner revealed she had once again become the target of vile homophobia.

She’s been receiving nasty messages since she started dating AFWL star Moana Hope, and said a hateful troll threatened to physically assault her for being in a same-sex relationship.

“Someone commented on a video of my partner and I and said that I needed to be physically attacked to bring out the gay in me,” María revealed on her It’s All Her podcast.

‘I haven’t talked about it, but it’s like you need to be hit to get back to your default level. These are the messages that people think are okay to send me.’

Maria went on to say, “All you can do is laugh that there are people who think this way” despite how scary it is.

‘I don’t feed it. “I block it and delete it because if I fed everything, my mental health would be really bad,” he added.
