Manchester United have made a change to their matchday plans against Brentford.
Erik ten Hag’s side will continue their quest for a Champions League place on Saturday night when they travel to the capital to take on Thomas Frank’s side.
They are currently nine points behind Aston Villa in fourth with 10 games left to play, although they are six points behind Tottenham in fifth, with fifth place potentially enough to mix it up with Europe’s elite next season.
The Red Devils will be heavily backed to pick up three points on Saturday, with Brentford currently in 15th place and battling injuries as they are dragged into a relegation battle.
The club, however, have made an unusual adaptation to their matchday plans as they prepare to return to action after the international break.

The Red Devils are looking to build on their victory over Liverpool as the Premier League returns and several players were spotted at Manchester Airport on Saturday morning.
The decision will allow players like Kobbie Mainoo (pictured) to be fit for Saturday night’s game.

United will reportedly travel to the match on the day of the match, rather than the day before as usual, due to the scheduled kick-off time.
The game will kick off at 8pm GMT, with Sky Sports broadcasting the match live on a blockbuster day of Premier League action.
Some members of the team were pictured at Manchester Airport on Saturday morning as they prepared to travel south.
Eight top-flight matches will be played on Saturday, with Newcastle versus West Ham kicking off proceedings at lunchtime before five matches at 3pm.
Aston Villa will then host Wolves at 5.30pm, before an extra match – United’s clash against Brentford – takes place in the evening.
United’s decision to travel on match day is down to the kick-off time, meaning they will have plenty of time to travel before needing to be at the GTECH Community Stadium.
It is the fourth time this season that United have moved a match to 8pm on a Saturday, the most by any Premier League team, and they have all been away from home following visits to Newcastle, Sheffield United and Burnley.
It has also been reported that the delayed departure will give some of their key stars more time to recover from illness and injuries, including Kobbie Mainoo.
Mainoo played for England on his international debut over the past fortnight but missed training on Thursday as he battled illness upon his return to the club.
Erik ten Hag said on Friday about his teenage star: “Yesterday he skipped training because he was sick. I don’t know (if he will be fit). We hope. Today he is there, not fully recovered, but we still have many hours before the start of the match at 8:00 p.m.’
United are currently nine points off the Champions League places with 10 games left to play.
Meanwhile, Brentford are struggling and will be without several key players for the match.
Players like Jonny Evans will also face late physical tests before the match.
Meanwhile, Brentford will be without the likes of Ben Mee and Ethan Pinnock as their injury problems continue to mount.
However, Bryan Mbeumo is expected to play some role, as is Ivan Toney, who scored for England against Belgium on Tuesday.
