Man United midfielder Scott McTominay was seen shouting something at Liverpool fans after the full-time whistle on Sunday and fans thought they knew what the Scot was saying.
United beat their rivals 4-3 in an epic FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford, with Amad Diallo scoring a dramatic winner in the final minute of extra time before seeing red for his celebrations.
McTominay opened the scoring that day and had some choice words for the traveling fans when the referee called an end to the match.
The midfielder jumped into the arms of goalkeeper Andre Onana and pointed at the Reds fans before appearing to say “fuck off”.
Viewers quickly took to social media to share the clip and they agreed that was indeed what he said.

“McTominay told Liverpool to ‘fuck off’ at the end of the match,” wrote one journalist on X.
Another said: “McTominay didn’t hold back against the Scousers at the end of the game.”
A third posted: “Scott McTominay saying fuck off to the Liverpool fans and Andre Onana giving it back after (no doubt) ruining it in the second half and extra time.” I love it, these videos are so good.
McTominay gave his side a perfect start to the match, but the Reds hit back through Alexis Mac Allister and Mo Salah before half-time.
Under pressure, Erik ten Hag’s men failed to respond, but substitute Antony managed to equalize against the run of play in the 87th minute.
Liverpool substitute Harvey Elliott put the Reds back in front in the 105th minute, but Marcus Rashford restored parity seven minutes later before Diallo sent his side to Wembley at the death.
Liverpool may not have to wait long before they can get their revenge on the Reds, with another meeting at Old Trafford between the two soon after the international break.
Jurgen Klopp and Co will return to the den of their arch rivals on April 7, knowing that another defeat could see them lose potentially crucial ground to Man City and Arsenal in the title race.
