A man has been hospitalized with severe cuts after being trampled by a bull in western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to a building on Northern Road in Bringelly just after noon on Wednesday.
The man in his thirties has had a large crack on his face and is currently being treated by ambulance personnel.
It is believed that the man was working on the property when he was attacked by the bull.
He has been transferred to Liverpool Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
“Initial reports were that a bull was out of control, but we were relieved to learn that the man was outside the paddock when we arrived,” New South Wales ambulance inspector Phil Sweet said in a statement.
“Paramedics quickly assessed the man and luckily he escaped with only minor injuries.”
“You can be as careful as you want, but when you work with large animals, sometimes unpredictable accidents happen.”
