A former model who was a finalist in the Miss Switzerland pageant was murdered and “pulled to pieces” by her husband, Swiss authorities have said. Kristina Joksimovic, 38, was found dead in her home in Binningen, near Basel, Switzerland, in February this year. According to local media outlet BZ Basel, the Federal Court in Lausanne on Wednesday denied an appeal for a man named Thomas, 41, to be released from prison after he reportedly confessed to murdering his wife, with whom he had two children.
