Erling Haaland has become the first player to be named Player of the Season and Young Player of the Year at the annual Premier League awards.

The two awards are just the latest the Norwegian striker can add to his cabinet after winning the Football Writers’ Footballer of the Year award in early May and lifting his first Premier League trophy on Sunday.

Haaland enjoyed a magnificent first season in the English top flight, becoming the highest-scoring player in a single league season after beating Alan Shearer’s record 35 goals.
