The woman whose severely decomposed body was found wrapped in plastic and dumped near a stream near Sydney Airport has been identified.
Police were called to Joseph Banks Park on Foreshore Road, in Botany, at 7.30am on Monday after a local noticed something suspicious in some nearby bushes.
New South Wales Police have identified the woman as Zhuojun ‘Sally’ Li, 33, who was reported missing after her mother was unable to locate her.
Police are still searching for Ms Li’s husband, Jai-Bao ‘Rex’ Chen, also 33.
There are serious concerns for his well-being, police said.
Mr Chen is described as being of Asian appearance, between 165cm and 170cm tall, with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
Police also released images of a silver Toyota Avensis after the vehicle was stopped on the north side of Foreshore Road on November 30.
Investigators have urged anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver of the car to come forward.

The woman whose badly decomposed body was found wrapped in plastic and dumped near a stream near Sydney Airport has been identified as Zhuojun ‘Sally’ Li (pictured left).
It comes after Homicide Squad commander Danny Doherty said the woman’s body may have lain there for “weeks, if not months” and was in a “severe” state of decomposition.
“At this stage the theory would be that the person stopped and disposed of the body just beside the road,” Detective Superintendent Doherty said.
‘The victim was just a few meters from the side of the road… a busy road. It is still unknown how long the body has been there.
‘This is a very tragic situation. A woman lost her life and was left lying on the side of the road.
“There is someone’s loved one who still doesn’t know that their loved one has not only been murdered, but was probably murdered.”
Detective Doherty said police were collecting CCTV from buildings in the nearby area and asked drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.
“The starting point for us is to identify the victim,” he said.
‘That would help us establish timelines, timelines, known associates and who the victim is, what the story is and how she came to be dumped on the side of the road.
“It’s a horrific discovery, but it’s a very tragic situation: a woman has lost her life and has been found… now we have to determine what the story is.”
The area remained cordoned off and under surveillance on Monday (pictured)
Several officers are seen working under a roundabout on Foreshore Road.
Footage showed an officer wearing a mask and gloves taking photographs of the scene on Monday.
The area remained cordoned off and under police surveillance, and several officers were seen working under a gazebo.
The video also captured a pair of discarded boots that may or may not have been part of the crime scene.
Several police vehicles were also parked on the side of the road as detectives continued their investigation.
Foreshore Road runs southeast from Sydney Airport along Botany Bay.
The large Joseph Banks Park runs on its northern side, but both sides of the road are lined with bushes.
