As Christmas draws ever closer, many Brits will be looking to get into the festive spirit by stocking up on alcohol in time for the seasonal celebrations.
An especially popular drink this time of year is Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, which is often enjoyed in December thanks to its smooth texture, which provides a feeling of warmth as the days get colder.
As the days tick down to Christmas Day, major UK supermarkets have announced they will be slashing the price of flavored liquor.
Sainsbury’s, Tesco and ASDA have slashed prices on Baileys to just £10 in a move that will come as welcome news to shoppers looking for a bargain.
The move was also followed by online delivery service Ocado, which works in partnership with M&S.
At Sainsbury’s, the offer is available to anyone with a Nectar card, which cuts the usual price of £21.95 by 54 per cent.
An even bigger discount can be found at rival chain Tesco for shoppers with a Clubcard, with the price reduced to £10 from an original price of £22.
For people who want to make the most of the reduced prices, be sure to keep an eye on the size of the bottles as they come in different sizes, 500 ml, 700 ml and one liter.

If you’re looking to save even more money, there are numerous off-brand deals you can take advantage of.
Popular budget supermarket Aldi is stocking Ballycastle liqueur, which comes in several flavours, including a new milk chocolate and clementine version for £7.49.
Meanwhile, budget rival Lidl’s Deluxe Irish Cream Liqueur has a 700ml bottle available for a slightly more expensive price of £7.99.
This works out to just £1.14 per 100ml and is less than half the price of the branded bottle if you don’t have any of the discounts above.
Earlier this year, Baileys launched a new drink to get Brits into the festive spirit early.
Established in Ireland in 1974, Baileys Original Irish Cream blends the flavor of whiskey with notes of rich chocolate and vanilla.
And now, the family-owned brand has created a limited-edition drink with a decadent twist: Baileys Chocolate at 15.7 percent ABV.
The rich drink, which launches in UK supermarkets this week, combines the delicious flavors of Irish cream with Belgian chocolate, making it a warming treat for the colder months.

‘The perfect gift for adults to relax as the cozy season approaches and consumers look for something sweet to brighten the darkest days. I’ll have mine on ice!’
Baileys enthusiasts can enjoy the drink neat over ice or get creative and make a Baileys Mocha Martini.
Priced at £16.50, the delicious drink is available in Tesco this week before rolling out to other major supermarkets throughout October.
