Domenica and Ella of Married At First Sight label MAFS’s final season a ‘s**t show’ before claiming this year’s villains just got a ‘bad edit’
Seemingly married besties Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding have called the latest series of the reality TV show “a mess” and “a sh**t show.”
In an interview with Yahoo lifestylethe former MAFS brides were asked to say one word describing the 2023 season, and they didn’t hold back.
‘A word? S**t show,’ Domenica said confidently, before realizing she hadn’t done the assignment quite right.
“Oh wait, that’s two words. F**k,” she added before Ella agreed, “That’s two words. Maybe just a mess? Oh wait, that’s two words too.’
The duo laughed and then struggled before Domenica said, “Look, we’re not that smart.”
Ella then said, “Just crap and s**t.”

The season nine stars said their favorite brides from the current season are Janelle Han and Tahnee Cook.
When asked if they knew any of the contestants before the show started, Domenica said, “I knew Janelle through the world of beauty influencers, so I had met her at a few Mac events and stuff.
“Melissa reached out, so I spoke to her on the phone, I have a lot of sympathy for her.
“I think she was persuaded by the producers to just be sex, sex, sex, and I think she was prodded and provoked by producers.”
Ella added that she didn’t know any of the brides or grooms before the series aired, and that Janelle and Tahnee are her favourites.
Domenica agreed, adding, “I’ve talked to Tahnee and Janelle and they’re nice and beautiful.”
She also defended intruder bride Tayla Winter, who has been branded this year’s “bad guy.”

The 27-year-old nurse, who has been linked to Hugo Armstrong, has faced criticism for saying her husband is “not a man’s man” and had him sleep on the couch during their honeymoon.
But Domenica said she believes Tayla got the “worst edit” of all the brides and isn’t portrayed accurately.
“I know she just came in, but personally I think she might be portrayed the wrong way because of certain things she says and how she acts,” she said.
“I didn’t give her free reign because she was really mean to Hugo, but I think there’s a lot more.”
