Looking back on their journey, Connie began, “When I first took part in the experiment, I was a fearful and clumsy introvert. I had very low self-esteem and I didn’t really think about myself. I really wanted to be loved and love in return – but I was a girl who felt invisible to the world. ‘
She explained that she got “weak knees” after the first meeting with Jonethen – but realized that no matter how much she tried to make it work, it was not intended.
“I lost myself and made it almost impossible for you to love me. Then I knew I had to change. I had to become the best version of myself, ”she continued.
“I felt you were ready to leave, so I made it my absolute priority to fight for us and fight for you. I refused to go down without a fight. But despite all the effort and determination, you controlled us – and me. ‘

“The only love and approval I need is from myself,” said the confident brunette
Connie then revealed that she repeatedly chose to stay in the experiment, no matter how many times Jonethen chose to leave because she was committed to staying to the end – which she wanted to honor.
She continued, “I stick to my decision, and while I didn’t love you, I found something much more important. Something so valuable. I found myself brave, strong, confident and dignified. I finally found myself.
“Before you stands a confident and proud woman who now understands her value in this world. The only love and approval I need is from myself. I became the love I was looking for – but I never could have done this without you. ‘
The End of Their Journey: Jonethen, who has tried to end their relationship for three consecutive weeks, gave Connie the opportunity to have her moment and praise her ‘beautiful’ words
Connie concluded, “You will always have a special place in my heart. This may be the end of our journey, but it’s just the beginning of mine. ‘
A smiling Jonethen hugged Connie in response, overwhelmed by her confidence.
He gushed afterward, “Connie’s vows were absolutely wonderful. She just radiated confidence and was like a phoenix. She is puffed up in this fiery and amazing bird. ‘
