Madonna wore a knee brace during rehearsals and didn’t let her injury stop her from giving it her all.
The singer previously revealed that she had to undergo regenerative treatment after suffering extreme pain due to knee surgery.
Madonna ultimately decided to undergo knee surgery in April 2020, followed by hip surgery in November 2020, as well as “regenerative treatment for the cartilage I was missing.”

She then donned a figure-hugging velvet catsuit with huge shoulder pads and stomped around the stage in silver boots.
Madonna is already making her presence felt in Brazil, ahead of a highly anticipated free concert on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana beach scheduled for Saturday.
He kicked off the Celebration tour last October at London’s O2 Arena and visited several notable European venues throughout December, when he ventured back to the US with a December 13 concert in New York City.
Madonna revealed in March she was concluding her journey with the oceanfront concert as “a thank you to his fans for celebrating more than four decades of his music throughout the epic world tour.”
The La Isla Bonita artist last took the stage in Brazil in 2012 during The MDNA Tour, the singer’s team said in the press release, adding that the show will be broadcast live on TV Globo.

According to Madonna’s team, “There are no tickets required for the event, entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event at the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel.”
Other notable artists have drawn large crowds at beachfront shows on Copacabana Beach, Madonna’s team noted.
Among them are Rod Stewart in 1994 with 4 million concertgoers; the Rolling Stones in 2006 with 1.5 million; and Lenny Kravitz in 2005 with 300,000.
Madonna is the mother of six children: Lourdes Leon, 27, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 18, Mercy James, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11.
The singer also made a splash in a floor-length cape dress with huge sleeves.
