Luke Littler posted some words of encouragement for Lamine Yamal after the Spanish star entered the European Championship history books.
Yamal scored a stunning equaliser against France on Tuesday night to help La Roja book a place in the Euro 2024 final, where they will play either England or the Netherlands.
Incredibly, he did it at the age of 16, meaning he is the youngest goalscorer in Euro history.
For his feat, Yamal also received a new tag on social media, being dubbed by some as the “Spanish Luke Littler.”
And Littler, who reached the final of the PDC World Darts Championship as a 16-year-old in January before losing to Luke Humphries, has been more than happy to have his say on Instagram.

Some have dubbed him the ‘Spanish Luke Littler’ for the darts player’s exploits.
On Tuesday night, the Darts Premier League champion posted a meme showing himself in the sky with Yamal speaking to him.
“How am I, boss?” Yamal asks in the meme.
“You’re doing a great job, son… a great job,” Littler replies, looking down from the clouds.
It is unclear whether Littler designed the comic himself or if someone else designed it.
The response at X, where Littler also shared the joke, was mixed.
“This is first class!” commented one user.
“That’s amazing,” said another, adding a series of laughing emojis.
Others were more critical in their responses.
Littler received a mix of praise and criticism for her meme from users who commented on X.
“One is a sportsman and the other is playing a pub game,” said one user.
“This is really weird,” wrote another.
Following Spain’s victory over France, which allowed them to reach the final of a tournament for the first time since 2012, coach Luis de la Fuente urged football to “take care” of Yamal.
“We saw a touch of genius from a footballer whom we should all take care of,” said De La Fuente.
“I would like him to work with the same humility and continue learning with the same attitude and maturity that he shows on the pitch. He seems like a player with a lot of experience and I hope we can enjoy him for many years,” added the Spanish coach.
De la Fuente became the first coach to win six consecutive Euros. His team will arrive in Berlin with a 100% record in this year’s tournament, and the coach praised his players and declared that Spain is “where it belongs.”
