An LSU male cheerleader is drawing criticism online after appearing to shove an Ole Miss football player immediately after a touchdown.
LSU sealed a big 29-26 victory over the Rebels on Saturday, and it looks like it wasn’t just the fans in the stands who were riled up during the action.
With less than two minutes left in the game at Tiger Stadium, Mason Taylor broke through the Ole Miss defense to score the touchdown that ultimately sealed his team’s victory.
However, when he reached the end zone, Ole Miss defender Trey Washington attempted to push him off the field before he could score.
Among the crowd watching by the end zone was a male cheerleader who seemed to take offense to Washington’s push and decided to return the favor.

In a strange moment captured by ESPN television cameras, the young cheerleader can be seen pushing Washington and pointing at him, as LSU’s celebrations begin.
On social media, the cheerleader has received a lot of attention, with some criticizing him for getting involved in the action on the field.
One wrote: “Assault on a cheerleader,” while another added that he “had no respect.”
Others, meanwhile, saw the funny side and joked: ‘The guy was ready hahaha.’
LSU’s big win over Ole Miss brings them to 5-1 on the year, and the team is currently eighth in the AP Top 25 rankings.
