The beauty went on to say that she was “in shock” and will be taking some time away from social media, with a friend handling all queries.

She added: ‘In shock I’m staying here and @erintidey will answer emails or anything I need work-wise. Xaya and I are safe and sound.’

The horrific motorway incident comes after Malin opened up about one of the darkest moments of her life following her famous stint on Love Island – when she “used her mother’s inheritance to pay off a huge Botox debt” when she was just over 20 years.

The reality star rose to fame on the hit ITV dating show in 2016, but not long after leaving the villa, she found herself spending money to fund endless cosmetic procedures.

In fact, the makeup artist turned mental health activist found herself caught in a vicious “cycle” using different credit cards, until she was hit with a huge bill.

However, the “addiction,” as she called it, made her reckless and unreliable, and she used her mother’s inheritance to pay off her debt after she died of stomach cancer in 2017.

The TV sensation admitted that if she didn’t have that money at the time, she wouldn’t know what to do.

‘I blew all my savings and took out payday loans for Botox and lip fillers in my early twenties. It was addictive and ridiculous,” Malin admitted, speaking to The mirror.

‘You think those types of treatments are less: £200 or £300 quickly. But I took out loans to pay them off and they were like little pockets of debt.

“At that time I wasn’t worried about money. I didn’t care. It wasn’t like I was spending £10,000 on a big surgery. But that’s the dangerous part about getting Botox and filler.

The internet star reflected: ‘I loved payday loans. It cost me more to return it than what I took out. And then when my mother died, I had to use her money to pay for everything. I got stuck in the cycle.
