The TV host’s only daughter, Rosie Smith, 29, announced her first pregnancy on Friday in a sweet Instagram post.
Revealing that she couldn’t be more excited for her new arrival, the podcaster shared a selfie of herself posing with her burgeoning baby bump in the mirror.
Smiling from cheek to cheek, Rosie cradled her growing belly as she shared that she was 12 weeks pregnant.
She captioned her post: “We couldn’t be more excited – you are already so loved, little one.”

Rosie, who studied journalism at Edinburgh Napier University, told The Tab: “I don’t really see my mum as an inspiration. I mean, she’s not the reason I’m studying journalism.
‘My father is a cameraman, that’s how my parents met, while my uncle is in advertising and grandfather also worked in the television industry. So I guess he’s in the family.
‘I had no idea what I wanted to do at university, but my family knew a lot about journalism and media. I also see it more as fun than work, which is important.’
“I haven’t decided exactly what I want to do yet,” he added in 2015.
