The UK leg of Lizzo’s current tour came to its penultimate finale with another display of limitless energy when the singer made the first of two scheduled appearances at London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday.
The singer worked her way through a catalog of hits from her four albums in front of a packed house at the cavernous Greenwich venue, her last stop on English soil before returning to the States.
Lizzo, 34, real name Melissa Jefferson, opted for a form-fitting lime green bodysuit with sheer details and was full of her usual infectious enthusiasm after joining her entourage of musicians and backup dancers onstage.
The American star is reaching the final series of shows on his special 62-date world tour, which is expected to end in California’s Thousand Palms on June 2.
The tour has already spanned Canada and the US, continental Europe and the UK, with one more show to take place at the O2 on March 16 before heading to Knoxville, Tennessee.

In March, Lizzo delighted fans after stopping her show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro to help a couple get engaged.
The singer was performing when she saw a concertgoer holding up her phone with the message: “Ask my brother’s boyfriend to marry him.”
Then she put the microphone in front of the man and he said, ‘Will you marry me?’ while broadcasting to a giant screen behind her.
Amid applause from the crowd, she added, “For God’s sake, just say yes,” prompting the “Truth Hurts” singer to ask, “What do you say?”
Outside of her ongoing tour, Lizzo will also headline Australia’s 2023 Splendor in the Grass this July.
