Liverpool fans are concerned that Trent Alexander-Arnold has fallen out with new manager Arne Slot.
Alexander-Arnold was frustrated to be substituted in the 72nd minute of Liverpool’s 2-0 home win over Brentford. The right-back had also been substituted against Ipswich Town last weekend.
With Alexander-Arnold now entering the final year of his contract, there is much uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at Liverpool.
It has been suggested that the 25-year-old could move to Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.
Despite the victory, Alexander-Arnold also appeared dejected after the match.

However, after the game, Alexander-Arnold suggested all was well as he posted a picture of himself smiling on his Instagram Story.
However, some fans felt Alexander-Arnold’s reaction to his substitution was worrying.
Alexander-Arnold posted a photo of himself smiling to suggest there is no problem.
One fan claimed Alexander-Arnold needs to “grow up”. He wrote: “Trent needs to grow up, he’s a great team player and a great player. Why hold him back? Let him sulk like that player who’s obviously nursing his legs after a solid performance.”
Another added: “It doesn’t look like Trent is the biggest fan of Slots yet.”
Meanwhile, another fan claimed Alexander-Arnold’s reaction was “childish”. He wrote: “Trent’s reaction was completely childish, he was at Bellingham too long, Slot took him off as a precaution for an injury in a game that was dead and buried.
“Why is he so upset about this? It’s really embarrassing.”
Another fan wrote that Slot was “putting pressure on Trent to sign for Real Madrid.”
Another fan also stated: ‘I love you Trent but there’s no reason to act like that man.’
Another fan commented on the situation, writing: ‘Jokes aside, are you worried about Trent’s attitude here or is it expected to be competitiveness to want to play the full game?
‘The rumours about Madrid were a bit worrying at the time, with no signed contract, but today he was top-notch.’
One fan also wrote: “Trent is not happy and I’m 100 per cent sure he’s thinking of joining Real Madrid. Slot is not the caring and attentive father figure that Klopp once was and our players need to adjust to that. Hopefully everything will work out.”
